2 November 2011: Expanding specialist bedding franchise, Bedshed is seeking a local entrepreneur to join the fast growing business and open the first Tasmanian stores in Launceston and Hobart. Chief Operating Officer, Gavin Culmsee said the company has identified a highly suitable site in the new Launceston C.H. Smith Lifestyle Centre development, with several Hobart locations also under review. "Our business strategy is to expand through attracting new franchisees on the east coast of Australia and Tasmania is a key part of that plan," Mr Culmsee said. "In retail, it's all about location and the C.H Smith development offers a desirable location for a new Bedshed franchise. We undertake an extensive investigation, reviewing a range of sites before pinpointing a location for a new store and we think this development offers exceptional potential for a new Launceston franchisee," he said. With no existing Bedshed franchises in Tasmania, a new franchisee would have the chance to take market share from competitor specialist bedding franchises, with significant behind the scenes support from the company and fellow franchisees. "Bedshed is a strong franchise model which has been tested and proven over our thirty year history," Mr Culmsee said. "Bedshed franchisees can enjoy the independence of running an owner-operator business with marketing support, collective buying power and the backing of experienced franchisee partners and professional staff." According to Mr Culmsee, the new franchisee doesn't have to have experience in the bedding industry, nor is franchise or business experience a must. "We're looking for someone who is committed to making their business successful and willing to put in the effort to reap the reward. We hope to find someone with vision and drive to grow their business and in doing so, secure their financial future and achieve their desired lifestyle," Mr Culmsee said. |
